SIDNEY H. REISENBERG BE A U.S. MARINE. 1917
One of the more famous of the World War I marine images. The marine depcited became affectionately known as "walking John" and that name has been given to any sargeant, appearing in his dress blues, depicted in a poster. Rawls p. 252, Borkan p. 38.
