  • Notes: rare. only one copy at auction in the last 20 years. Only two copies located in estc. A direct attack on the English clergy that seemed to not only avoid addressing the issue, but even advocated for slavery, a favorite topic for Frederick Douglass a half century later. Sabin, 102825. A copy appears in Charles Heartman's mammoth African Americana catalogue for 1948, see lot 92.
