  • Notes: Two mortgages involving property of Gustave Delamare and J.C. Beatty. They include the slaves living on them: fourteen slaves in the one case and four in the other. These mortgages involved complex appraisals. The printed form for which includes specifics such as "Negro cabins, stables, stores and barns," etc. From the Citizen's Bank of Louisiana.
