  • Notes: This manumission was filed by Isaac Newton Bernard and his attorney George W. Pulliam. "We have this day emancipated and set free from all manner of service to us, our heirs &c a certain negro man slave named Shadrach, formerly the property of Thomas Bernard deceased and at this time of the age of forty eight years or thereabouts."
