  • Notes: a rare printing of an oration delivered on the occasion of the first anniversary of the 1808 British ban on the African slave trade. In addition to the Oration, the order of the day included a prayer, the reading of hymns, and singing. Thomas Commeraw led the singing and reading of the hymns. American Imprints 18618. Not in the Blockson Collection, or Schomburg.
