[Carta Executoria de Hidalguía in favor of Francisco de Hermosa of La Parrilla.] illuminated manuscript in spanish, written in neat book hand in black ink, 38 lines, recto and verso, on vellum. lavish full-page border in colors and gold on first text page incorporating initial d with miniature of the adoration of the magi at top, and the arms of the grantee at bottom, floral border on facing page, initial h with miniature of the magi on 31r, initial p with miniature of charles i(?) on 34v, and 15 decorated initials in colors and gold; red silk guards over all illumination. 40 leaves. 302x212 mm, contemporary Spanish citron morocco lavishly gilt with concentric ornamental rolls around center panel containing massed ornamental tools with Lamb of God in center, cover corners bumped, silk ties defective, recased, endpapers renewed; lacks the lead seal.
