(SPIRITUALISM.) Curious manuscript record of a visit to a medium, with Dora Shreve writing of her concerns and the medium writing for his contact on the other side (White Hawk). 3 pages, 8vo; several cellotape repairs. Np, first half 20th century
- Notes: Dora is concerned as to whether she will be able to sell her farm and open up her own business. White Hawk responds, "Tell her I am her spirit guide - I protect her and help her all I can - I wish her to be happy - yes you will get things made right and sell the property and get for it what you desire and make right in business affairs - White Hawk." On another sheet it is unclear whether the medium, White Hawk, or another control is speaking, "You will understand that I write for all who comes near me as I have the controle [sic] of the medium to write - so this Indian what ever he has to say I will also write it down for him Hay[?]."
