Everyday is Kodak Day. Platinum print, image area 2 1/4x1 1/2 inches (5.7x3.8 cm.), sheet size 3 1/4x2 inches (8.9x5.1 cm.), with Struss' hand stamp on verso. Circa 1913

  • Notes: Struss studied photography with Clarence White at Columbia University in 1912, and later had success as a commercial photographer. In 1919 he moved to Hollywood and became a cinematographer. He was nominated for an Academy Award on four different occasions, winning in 1929 for "Sunrise."
