- Notes: inscribed and signed by zürn to tristan tzara from berlin january 31, 1956 and including an als from her to tzara with kind words about sending him her book and mentioning that she will soon join Hans in Paris and hopes they can all visit. One page, folded 8vo sheet, Berlin, 31 January 1956. Zürn met Bellmer the year before this volume was published and became his partner and model, moving with him to Paris and befriending others in the Surrealist circle including Ernst and Man Ray. She suffered from depression and schizophrenia which often became the inspiration for and subject of her writing. Her illness finally overtook her in 1970 when she committed suicide by jumping from the window of the apartment she shared with Bellmer.
