(TEMPERANCE.) Moody, D.W.; after George Cruikshank. The Bottle. Suite of 8 tinted lithographed prints detailing the decline of a loving family resulting from a husband's fondness for drink, on oblong 4to sheets; first plate unevenly trimmed along bottom edge but retaining caption, first plate with closed tear, all plates with dampstaining in upper right corner bleeding a short distance into the image, all plates trimmed along bottom edge removing imprint line. An interesting suite of prints despite the obvious faults. sold as is./span New York: F. Michelin, circa 1846-51
