- Notes: Sufficient material to create a credible biography of the magician. There are several thousand papers giving an insight into Raymond's magical act. Contracts with employees show that he often overpaid his workers. They all signed contracts to guarantee that they would not pass on secrets. Additionally, there are several hundred theatre broadsides for performances in Latin American countries - one could probably construct a chronology of his South American tours. An important scrapbook kept by Raymond contains news clippings and other paper ephemera from early in his career (1901-06). Althogether, a very interesting and illuminating archive of a well-known magician.
