Teddy Gunn is the former director of the Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation's Center for Art and Culture. In 1973, he became the first exhibition coordinator of the center. It joined the Fulton Art Fair on Fulton Street in becoming a vital part of the arts landscape in Brooklyn. Gunn's paintings were included in Harlem '69, an important early group exhibition at the Studio Museum in Harlem where he worked as a docent.
