    Day Baker was a sales executive at the General Vehicle Company between 1911 and 1917 who enthusiastically promoted electric automobiles, serving as president of the Boston Electric Motor Car Club in 1913, and  treasurer for the Boston Commercial Motor Vehicle Association in 1920.
