New York, 1936 A poster depicting a woman on a stage warding off a barking dog. This poster was commissioned by The Children's Theatre of the Community Committee of the Phillis Wheatley Young Women's Christian Association for their marionette presentation of "The Three Wishes," and "Jack and the Beanstalk," performed in May 1936. Quite atypical of Alma Thomas's work which is usually more abstract.
