First edition, quarto, the only edition listed in ESTC; signature trimmed from bottom of title page; illustrated with text diagrams; contemporary marginalia throughout, with added woodcut meant to replace the one printed mistakenly on page 35 present at the end of the text; the two volumes bound together in later polished calf, from the Macclesfield sale, with South Library bookplate inside front board and handwritten list of the other volumes formerly bound with these two on front fly leaf; 7 x 5 1/4 in.
