Boxed game with folding chromolithographed game board, 8-page rule booklet with pictorial wrappers, wooden dice cup, 6 dice (each spelling "W-I-Z-A-R-D"), and 4 pewter figurines representing Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tinman and Cowardly Lion as playing pieces. In the original cardboard box with color pictorial paper label to box top, tape repairs to board edges, corners. first issue, subsequent issue replaced the pewter figures with ordinary color wood ternings. - Notes: The object of the game is to get to the Emerald City and of course see the Wizard. One does this by spelling his name with the cubes, each side of which carries one letter of his name. The board vividly depicts the characters and settings in the Oz stories.
