17x22 inches. Condition B+: tattered bottom edge; tears through margins; foxing in right margin. Paper. This lithograph was created from a study Colin did for the poster in the previous lot. It shows Colin's academic artistic background (he studied at the Ecole des beaux-arts de Nancy ) and also shows how much work he put into coming up with the perfect image for the poster. Here, in a simple sketch, which Colin would have drawn directly on the stone, the three girls are seen from the back. Conceivably, Colin was toying with the idea of putting this image on the back of the program in the theatre, or he simply liked it so much that he had it printed for his own pleasure.
