Two editions of the International Guild Guide. 1967 and 1970.

231 and [4]167, [13] pages. Octavo, original wrappers; 1967 edition with minimal wear, 1970 with moderate wear including 4 blank leaves excised from the "Notes" section at rear, 4 leaves detached, crease to front wrapper; 1970 guide with inked stamp of retailer Oscar Wilde Memorial Bookshop in New York. Washington, DC: Guild Book Service, 1967 and 1970.

These bar and nightclub guides are arranged by state and city, with a substantial international section at rear including not only Europe but some locations in Latin America and Africa.

Readers are invited to contribute their ratings for an elaborate coding system to help identify bars whose patronage included "Colored," "Lesbian," "GI (heavy military patronage)," "Rough Trade" and more. The most hazardous spots are designated "At your own risk." This annual guide was launched in 1966, and the 1967 listings have very few codes, but they are more fleshed out in 1970.
