She writes emotionally about the fact that they are both depressed, and tells him that she cries for him but admits that she doesn't know much about his past. But encourages him and continues to have faith in him because together they can do anything. Expresses relief that his illness was finally diagnosed. She encourages him to apply for membership in Mensa and teases him by saying she's lucky to have found someone smarter than herself. She is reading Wordsworth andsends a quote. Closes by repeating she wishes he did not have to take tranquilizers. 25 October. 5 pages on 5 sheets. Tells him she has spent the money he sent her on a record by Rev. Gary Davis, writing that she'll never grow tired of listening to folk music or the blues. Writes that she bought flowers and yarn for his sweater, too.
