Condition: This print is trimmed to the image area and is in excellent condition. The photograph is affixed to the original mount and signed and titled on mount recto. The surface of the print is rich lly flawless and the tones are quite warm.
The photograph was purchased directly from Vishniac and has been in the present owner's collection since 1979. The image is reproduced in "Roman Vishniac: A Vanished World," 169.
Please note that the illustrations for lot 99 and 100 are reversed in the printed catalogue.
