  • Notes: first edition. inscribed and signed by warren with his nickname "Red" to his friend Fred Crofts, in the year of publication. Crofts was a publisher who first met Warren when he successfully handled the production and promotion of the Warren''s early textbook "Understanding Poetry" in the early 1940s. Ex-library Crofts, but without any identifying marks.
