I hope you like what I have written about our favorite American artist!" Annotated with numerous pencil notations indicating pieces which depicted or had belonged to Henry Folsom. With inserted photocopy of Lloyd Folsom''s February 1948 return letter to McCracken, sharing numerous anecdotes of Remington. Philadelphia, [1947].
    The ephemera includes: Small uncaptioned period photograph of a man on horseback, apparently Remington, 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 inches * Worn "ex Libris Frederic Remington" bookplate illustrated with a bleached cattle skull * Menu for a dinner at the New York Club, signed on verso by Frederic Remington and others. New York, 18 December 1903 * Menu for a University Club moose dinner in honor of Folsom, signed by several club members on verso, with a detached original watercolor cover of a moose and hunting regalia; the artist''s signature apparently reads "Tiffany" but is not Louis Comfort Tiffany''s. New York, 27 September 1904 * Another menu watercolor menu cover with a moose-hunting theme, this one unsigned.
