WILL CARQUEVILLE LIPPINCOTT'S APRIL. 1895.

18 3/4x12 1/2 inches.
Condition B+: restored loss in left margin; creases in image.
The magazine is reproduced in such clarity that you can read the contents, which must have made the publisher happy, but detracted from the overall design of the poster. La Fogue, writing in Les Affiches Etrangeres, 1897, refers to Carqueville arresting the viewer with "the most original [graphic] notions." Kiehl 47, DFP I 198, Margolin p. 80, Virginia p. 59, Keay p. 24, Gold 103.
