Folio, contemporary full crimson straight-grained burgundy morocco with gilt spine lettering, raised bands and compartments, and wide floral gilt-bordered covers, professionally rebacked in leather retaining original backstrip, some rubbing to edges, few surface imperfections including small circular mark on lower front cover and a bit of fading on rear cover; all edges gilt; minor offsetting from plates. London: Edward Orme, circa 1823
- Notes: Second, large-paper edition. Identical to the 1819 edition published by H. R. Young in six points, but has imprint of Howlett and Brimmer on title-page verso. The vibrant illustrations depict all manner of hunting sports, including big game hunting, whaling, fishing, birding, and bull fighting in North America, Germany, Lapland, Spain, Russia, and Africa.
