- Notes: first edition, first issue. with an als by thomas moore to his publisher, discussing mainly a dinner he plans to give, and asking for a copy of Leigh Hunt's Rimini. 1 page, folded 4to sheet, with integral address leaf, mounted to endpapers. 18 February 1816. Moore was Byron's friend and literary executor, to whom he entrusted his Memoirs. Moore, however, later agreed with Byron's wife and publisher, John Murray, to burn the manuscript thereby concealing from the public Byron's incestuous relationship with his half-sister, Augusta. Wise I, 92.
