Hill, written in a space below Mr. Hill's letter, agreeing to sign some copies of his own books in a library's collection. 1/2 page, 8vo, "Saint Paul's School" stationery. Np, Thursday 11 October no year * Harriet Beecher Stowe. Check Endorsed, "Pay to G.P. Bissel or order, H.B. Stowe," on verso of a check to her from publisher James R. Osgood. Approximately 2 3/4x8 1/2 inches. Philadelphia, 10 November 1795 * Wendell Phillips. Brief ALS, in full: "I'm glad that accident brings me home sooner than I planned--I'll come over this aft." 1 page, small 8vo. Np, 29 January no year * William H. Prescott. Two items Inscribed and Signed, "Wm. H. Prescott." The first, ALS, enclosing "twenty five dollars for your lectures,--with many thanks for the instruction you have given my daughter." 1 page, small 8vo, with integral blank. Boston, 31 April 1847.
