- Notes: first edition, first issue, large-paper copy, containing a duplicate of the portrait, "one of the most famous of literary mezzotints" (Pforzheimer). all published in this form, with correction slip ("The End") pasted over the bottom line of text ("The End of the First Volume") on the last page. The second issue appeared in 1706 with the imprint of Jeffrey Wale. Hayward 138; Pforzheimer 1101.
