    In June 2019 Swann Galleries will present The Pride Sale, a curated auction of material related to the LGBTQ+ experience and the gay rights movement. Timed to honor the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, the auction will offer art, books, photographs, posters, archives, ephemera and more. Featuring artists like Paul Cadmus, Jared French, Robert Mapplethorpe, Glenn Ligon and Gerda Wegener, as well as literature and autograph material from figures such as James Baldwin, Jean Cocteau, Harvey Milk, Gertrude Stein, Alice Walker and Oscar Wilde.
