Hamilton Hamilton

1847-1928

English artist Hamilton Hamilton was born in 1847, and emigrated to New York with his family as a child. Though mostly self taught, he worked as an illustrator and portrait artist after moving to Connecticut. Painter Hamilton Hamilton pursued his art career further, despite receiving little encouragement from his parents.

A selection of Hamilton Hamilton figural paintings for sale, featuring female figures in period dress against stunning outdoor backgrounds earned him early recognition. His soft oil color palette choices, and impressionist style, translated well to his female subjects. Along with his portrait work, artist Hamilton Hamilton has become highly regarded for his landscape paintings. His impressionist style landscapes of Colorado, and several other western states, rank him as one of the greatest American Western frontier painters. Purchase many artists’ beautiful, original, depictions of the human body, from period dress to nudes, by viewing tasteful figural paintings for sale at Invaluable.
