State, to Superintendent of Military Stores Samuel Hodgdon, sending a letter [not present]
from [Nathaniel Peaslee?] Sargent, and reporting that he has declined an offer from the
owner of an Algerian transport ship. With additional Franking Signature, “Free /
T.Pickering,” on address leaf. 1 page, 4to, with integral address leaf; marked chipping along
outer edge of both leaves with loss to text on each line, marked dampstaining overall
affecting both signatures, chipped edges backed.

to Andrew Hamilton and wife Mary to Samuel Chew for £800. The endorsement, certi-
fying that the deed is a true copy. 4 pages, folio, written on a single folded sheet; remnants
of prior mounting along right edge of terminal page touching extreme end of “Recordr”
