Complete suite of 6 large engravings after paintings by George Robertson and
commissioned by William Beckford, each approximately 410x560 mm, ample margins;
each with archival repairs, generally marginal but several plates with slightly abraded areas,
plate 5 with portion of dedication in caption supplied in facsimile, plate 2 with several
large closed tears and fairly extensive surface repairs, other scattered repairs to remaining
plates; each linen-backed after repairs were made; uniformly matted and framed.

The suite presents exceptionally well despite the various repairs described above.The suite is
rarely found complete.
