nearly 20 with captions, all in the negative. Oblong folio, black lacquer covers with elaborate colored
ivory inlay depicting two roses and a bird, also with the word “China,” and a gilt-highlighted motif
depicting insects on the rear; leather backstrip; all edges gilt. 1880s
