[800/1,200]

A wonderful poster with the image of a min-

strel troupe with their instruments. Sanford’s

Opera Troupe was active from 1853 to 1857.

(MUSIC.) MILLIE—CHRISTINE.

Two Cartes-de-visite.

Standard size

cartes, one with a finely printed biography

on the reverse; the other shows the girls

somewhat older and a bit heavier; some

toning to both.

New York: Ollivier Photo,

circa 1865-1870

[400/600]

An interesting pair of images of the conjoined

twins, sometime referred to as the “Two-headed

Nightingale.” The biography on the reverse of

one of them is written in blank verse, obviously

written for the twins.
