Mucha designed this ornamental template for
Le Mois
magazine’s cover, which remained the cover
image for its first twelve issues, varying only the edition text and central medallion based on the month
of publication. Those same central images, each a visual representation of a calendar month, were
issued as postcards, appearing as medallions without the decorative border.
