Borromeo Seminary stamp on title (or first leaf in Volume 7) and accession number on
next leaf in each volume, early underscoring and marginalia throughout, occasional toning,
infrequent minor marginal dampstaining and worming not impairing legibility, scattered
clean tears, Volume 1 title soiled, first gathering loose in Volume 7, Volumes 10 and 11
partly browned, Volume 10 title soiled and detached, following leaves loose, lower outer

Graf. Folio, 306x211 mm, contemporary blind-tooled pigskin over wooden boards, lacking
catches and clasps, small wormholes through covers and front and back of contents slightly
affecting some text; paper corrosion along fore edge of first and last few leaves, marginal
dampstaining on opening leaves of De summa Trinitate. Rheinfelden Capuchin ownership
inscription; signatures of Johannes Kaininiger dated 1519; Christophorus Aichinger, 1550;
Burghard Herbort, 1590; and Jacob Bürg or Bürgi, 1597.
