A charming, though unidentified illustration
of two mice swinging on stems of Queen
Anne’s Lace. Day was a well-known and
prolific illustrator for Disney Studios, most
notably for “Bambi.”This watercolor is typical
of the forest creatures studies drawn from his
native Maine woods.
