Boston, 23 December [1929] [300/400] Connie’s Hot Chocolates was a revue which played on Broadway from June to December 1929 before heading on the road. It is billed here as a “tanskin revel” and “whirlwind sepia revue” which “embraces the finest colored talent ever assembled.” Boston was apparently the first stop on the tour. Among the cast of 105 are named musicians Fats Waller and Cab Calloway, and actors James Basket and Billy Higgins. 396 c   (THEATER.) Paris, 1926 and 1937 [600/900] Two programs from the French cabaret hall where Baker got her first big break. “La Revue des Folies Bergère 1926-1927,” [40] pages, featuring a color portrait of Baker topless on the title page and two other color spreads * “Folies Bergere 1937 en Super-Folies,” [36] pages, in black and white with color reproduction of a nude painting of Baker tipped to first page.
