Paris, [1975] [400/600] The last performance of Josephine Baker’s career was on 8 April 1975 at the age of 68. The grand revue at Bobino, a Parisian music hall where she had performed regularly in the 1920s, celebrated her 50 years in show business. Four days later, she died peacefully in bed while reading the glowing reviews. This poster, featuring a full-length photograph by Guy Ventouillac, advertised “Josephine á Bobino 1975,” the vinyl double record of this final performance.
