    Further information:
    Ohio-born designer Ada Peacock created costumes for the Broadway musicals Happy Go Lucky (Liberty Theatre, 1926) and Honeymoon Lane (Knickerbocker Theatre, 1926). After relocating to London, she contributed costume designs for Follow the Sun, Charles B. Cochran's 1936 revue at the Royal Adelphi Theatre. Following her marriage to an Englishman, Peacock moved to Argentina, where she produced watercolor and gouache paintings depicting the people, costumes, and customs of Argentina and other South American countries. She also extended her artistic practice to commercial design, creating menu covers for international shipping lines.
