BREAK-APART EXCHANGE BOX. A scarce piece of apparatus which can be completely taken apart, with the drawer removed and sides swung open. A prediction is placed into an envelope and then into the box. The prediction and envelope are then exchanged for another which has been prepared in advance. 3x6x8 1/2 inches (7.5x15x21.5 cm). France, circa 1860.
