CARL MOOS (1878-1959) SWISSAIR.
38 1/4x28 1/2 inches.
Condition A-: trimmed.
Formed in 1931, Swissair was a conglomeration of Balair and Ad Astra Aero, two earlier aviation companies. Its earliest routes were primarily internal, using the same routes that their predecessor companies had used. Here, a Fokker 7.B-3M is soaring over the Alps, into a sky intricately created using geometric splotches of color.
