Advertising a one day flying exhibition sponsored by the aviation magazine L'Aeronautique, held in conjunction with Paris' grand Exposition Internationale (World's Fair) in 1937. Most likely the structures represent some of the pavillions on the fair grounds. The poster was used to promote different flying events in the same year, as another version bears an imprint of a July 4th exhibition at Orly airport.
