- Notes: Early (1816-94) Confederate Lieutenant General, saw action at Bull Run, Cedar Mountain, 2nd Bull Run, Fredericksburg, Chancerllorsville, Gettysburg and more. At the end of the war, he was one of few Confederate officers to refuse to take the oath of allegiance.
