Semi-nude woman walking, scattering flowers and turning around, pl. 53:
This plate is in very good condition. The image area is bright, clean, and neat, and without apparent flaw. The far edges of the sheet show some slight darkening, as can be typical, and the left margin two soft handling marks. These are not obtrusive. This plate without the typical letterpress credit, series title, or plate number. Print verso also shows some soiling, two small rectilinear pieces of hinging tape, and a W.R. Miles Muybridge Collection stamp with an item number in ink.

Turning, ascending stairs, water jar on left shoulder, pl. 105:
This plate is in good condition. The image area is clean, bright, and neat, and without apparent flaw. The margins evidence overall faint soiling, with an area of additional soiling at the upper left corner and left edge. The left margin also evidences one soft handling mark, which is not distracting, and far from the image area. Print verso also shows some soiling, two small rectilinear pieces of hinging tape, and a W.R. Miles Muybridge Collection stamp with an item number in ink.
