FINE CON-DITION. Np, circa late 1940s-early 50s E250/350 NORMAN FILM COMPANY was established in 1920 in Jacksonville, Florida by Richard E. Norman, Sr., inventor and roving filmmaker. He was a white business-man with a mission: to star Harlem's finest theatrical talent in wholesome entertainment that presented black audiences with positive new cultural images. The company lasted until 1928. Lots 71-84 below include images from the majority of films produced during its nine-year life.
