- Notes: "I am writing today only to confirm receipt of the Buschiade, which arrived yesterday evening and gave us a great deal of pleasure. You compose poems very well together. Consequently, you will get along with each other. This day is less sparkling than the earlier one, although the weather is nice enough. Aunt has a migraine, and I can go alone to the pub. Also the peace terms throw a shadow on the most beautiful landscape... You are young and must stay ready for better times..."
