New York U.N.I.A., 4 September; 21 August 1926 E250/350 TWO SPECIAL "EXTRA" PAGES, APPEALING FOR FUNDS FOR EDUCATION. While Garvey remains one of the most influential African-Americans of the 20th century, ver y little of his material appears in commerce. Newspapers, because of their size and poor quality paper did not endure in great numbers. These "extras," part of the regular newspaper, The Negro World, carry a special appeal. Schomburg Collection's entire holdings of 5 pieces from the Negro World are all on microfilm.
