- Notes: Ginsberg's caption reads "Jack Kerouac with a railroad Brakeman's rule-book in Pocket visiting William S. Burroughs at my Lower East Side apartment, here out on the rear window fire escape with clothes lines & pillows airing, 206 East 7th Street New York, he'd completed on the road, visions of cody, dr. sax, maggie cassady, and begun book of dreams and the adventures of the subterraneans by Fall 1953. Gregory Corso poet was also on the scene."
