These 2 letters concern a New York facility for naval personnel which she apparently helped launch. with--a related Typed Letter Signed from U.S. Representative Charles Beary Landis to Admiral Philip, praising Helen Gould as "one of the noblest women of this generation," Washington, 19 February 1900 and--2 photographs mounted on one sheet, depicting a woman in western garb with a rifle, and in a heavy fur coat, captioned "Miss Gould."
