Ex-collection Robert Balmanno, dated 1812 in ink (Lugt 213, verso). Small restored loss and tear lower left corner. A very good, dark and evenly printed impression of this extremely scarce, unfinished print.
We have found only 4 other second state impressions at auction in the past 20 years. Bartsch 23; Hollstein 17.
